Navigation is currently restricted at Saltersford Lock on the Weaver Navigation due damaged sustained to one of the lock gates that is preventing it being operated safely.

Contractors are on site today to investigate the damage and determine the extent of the works requiredNavigation is only possible for narrowboats.

This restriction applies to any craft that require both lock gates to be fully operational in order to pass safely through the lock.

We politely request all narrowboat customers to navigate through the affected area with care.
