Tuel Lock will be closed after operation on Friday 29th May 2026 to allow works to a neighbouring property. These works are essential to stop the property being further damaged by water from the canal. It is expected that these works will take up to 2 weeks, with the lock expected to reopen on Friday 12th June 2026. Should works finish sooner then Tuel Lock will be re-opened earlier than planned.   We will advise on progress of the works on Friday 5th June 2026 and will also give an updated operating schedule for Tuel Lock at this time.
