The bridge remains out of use. We will provide a further update once a timeframe for repairs has been confirmed. Navigation through the area is unaffected.

Bridge 26, Hockley Heath Drawbridge 2, is currently out of use due to a crack being found in the structure during a routine inspection.

Until a temporary repair can be undertaken, the bridge will be secured in the upright position and is not to be lowered.

This does not affect the navigation or towpath but does affect the ability to cross over the bridge.
