Navigation remains closed at Little Clegg Swing Bridge on the Rochdale Canal due to a fault with the lock mechanism and the hydraulic hose that operates the swing bridge.

Our contractors have now received the parts and are attending next week to carry out the repairs. 

In the meantime, assisted passages will be available to support customers navigating through Little Clegg Swing Bridge.

Assisted passages are available at the following times:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 2:00pm

Saturday and Sunday: 12:30pm
