Third-party contractors are to be carrying out inspection works to Selly Oak Railway Bridge on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal using ropes and a floating pontoon and scaffold.
The pontoon is to be positioned to allow waterway traffic to pass during the works.
Signage is to be placed both upstream and downstream of the works and pontoon access locations to notify boaters and tow-path users.
