The towpath-side paddle rod has come away from the ground paddle at Kendalls Lock 5 and is currently out of use.  The lock remains operational but boaters will experience delays filling the lock, which will result in slower movement on the flight until the ground paddle rod can be repaired.  We will update this notice by Friday 15th May or sooner if we have further information.
