We will have a navigation restriction in place to carry out clearance works to the bywash culvert at Lock 12 which has become blocked on Friday 1st May from 08:30hrs to 16:00hrs. Description: The bywash culvert at Lock 12 has become blocked. We are entering the water at the outlet end of the bywash to try to remove the blockage. Instructions: There will be an operative in the water working in a dry suit so no boat movement will be safe at the time. Lock 12 will be chained off and out of action and we would ask nobody move up towards the lock from Lock 11 until the work is complete. We will make sure to inform customers when we have completed the work and are clear of the canal.
