Notice – Bridge 181 (Snaygill Swing Bridge)

Please be advised that Bridge 181, Snaygill Swing Bridge, will be closed from Tuesday 5th May to Friday 22nd May. Essential works have been scheduled during this period, including pintle refurbishment and bearing replacement, due to ongoing difficulties with operating the bridge.

Throughout the duration of these works, the bridge will remain closed to all canal traffic.

Should the works be completed ahead of schedule, a further update will be issued to confirm reopening.
