A running event, organised by Peak Divide, is taking place on Saturday 18th April 2026 from 9:30am to 12:00pm.
The event will take place between Bridge 2, Jutland Street Road to Bridge 29, Portland Street Footbridge on the Ashton Canal and Portland Basin Stone Bridge to Bridge 8A, Gee Cross Footbridge on the Peak Forest Canal.
The towpath will remain open to the public as normal, but we kindly ask you to stay alert and proceed with care while passing through the area.
