Due to ongoing drainage problems and frequent blockages at the existing elsan, we will be installing a new elsan facility to provide a more reliable service for boaters.   Work is due to start next week and is expected to take around two weeks to complete.   The new elsan facility will be located on the north side of the locks. This location has better access to utility connections, which will significantly reduce the drainage issues currently experienced and improve long‑term reliability.

The elsan remains out of order, we are working to fix this as soon as possible.

The Elsan point at Beeston Lock customer service facility is currently out of order.  We are working to fix this as soon as possible.
