We're sorry for the lack of notice regarding the disconnection of the water point at Braunston Stop House.

The water supply at this location has been affected by extremely low water pressure, making the facility unreliable and leading to concerns about ongoing water loss. We have worked with all relevant stakeholders to try to identify the source of the issue, but despite extensive investigations we have not been able to trace the cause or carry out a permanent repair.

To prevent unnecessary water loss while investigations continue, the water point has now been disconnected.

We understand the inconvenience this causes and appreciate this facility is valued by boaters. Further work is underway to explore alternative options to reinstate a water supply at this location, and we will provide an update as soon as more information is available.

In the meantime, we apologise again for the short notice and thank customers for their understanding.
