Third-party inspection works will be carried out at Bridge 79, Selly Oak Railway Bridge on the Worcester & Birmingham Canal.
The inspection is to be undertaken from within the watercourse by inspectors in drysuits.
Signage is to be placed both upstream and downstream of the works and banksmen are to be in place to notify boaters and communicate to the inspection team of any boat traffic.
