To help maintain water levels within the Aylesbury Arm and in particular, between Locks 6 and 7, repairs are required to the single top gate at Lock 7 to reduce water loss through the gate planking.
Top stop plank Installation and lock head dewatering will be required to carry out these water saving repairs by our Regional Reactive Team, who will also take the opportunity to inspect and refurbish as required, both Ground Paddle frames and connections.
Locks 1 and 6 will be locked to undertake these works for the purpose of our delivery teams safety
