Contractors, working on behalf of the Local Authority, to build the new footbridge close to Dockholme Lock, Long Eaton, will be using a temporary floating pontoon across the canal to access both banks between Saturday 28th February at 8am and Sunday 5th April at 5pm.  The contractors will move the pontoon without delay to ensure that the navigation is not restricted.     Please note there is a site contact number of 07769 724637, which is also published on the site signage.  Please be aware of increased activity in the area.
