Third-party contractors are carrying out repairs to the damaged parapet at Belmont Row Bridge that was struck by a vehicle last year.
To facilitate these works, scaffolding will be installed on the offside.
Lock 3, Ashted will remain operational, although barriers and fencing will be installed to demarcate the work area.
The towpath and canal will remain open.
Signs and barriers will be placed along the towpath to manage pedestrian traffic.
Please follow any instructions given by the third-party contractors.
