As part of the Winter Stoppages works that are currently active on this section of towpath. We are having to place a temporary towpath closure on the section of towpath from Bridge 14, Fallingroyd Tunnel to Lock 8, Mayroyd Lock for 2 days whilst machinery is needed to undertake the works on and over this section as it is dangerous for the public to enter whilst the works are being carried out. The towpath section will be closed on Wednesday 4th February and Thursday 5th February from 9am to 4pm on both days. Reopening on Friday 6th February.
