Please can boaters be aware that contractors, working on behalf of Network Rail, will be undertaking maintenance works on the railway bridge using a pontoon and scaffold in the navigation.
The contractors will be updated with the movement of commercial vessels so that the navigation is clear in time for their arrival at this location. Please could private boaters co-operate with requests from site staff? Boaters may be asked to wait for up to 30 minutes for an activity to be made safe so that the pontoon can be moved to clear the navigation.
