Third-party contractors will be carrying out excavation works at the rear of the towpath near Aqueduct 1. As part of these works, machinery and materials will be transported along the towpath.
Appropriate signage will be installed both upstream and downstream of the work area. Banksmen will be in attendance to advise and manage the safe passage.
All users are asked to take care when passing through the area and to follow any instructions provided on site.
