A third-party contractor will be carrying out an inspection of the railway bridge and will have a pontoon/scaffold tower in the canal.
The canal navigation will remain open but there may be a short delay for the pontoon operator to move the pontoon out of the way.
The towpath will remain open but please approach with caution and follow any signs or instructions from the contractor.
