Further to the notice below, please note the metal railings installed adjacent to the canal are a temporary measure to protect workers and users of the canal towpath.

These railings will be removed at the end of the project.

Please be advised that contractors working on behalf of Torfaen County Borough Council will be carrying out repairs to the concrete walls canal side near the towpath and on the offside.

The towpath and navigation will remain open but please approach with caution and follow any signs or instructions from the contractor.
