Third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 41, Vernons Bridge and Bridge 43 Fodens Bank Bridge on the Macclesfield Canal to carry out the removal of an overhead line crossing the canal.
Whilst both the towpath and navigation will remain open, we would ask all customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors on site. There may be a short delay for towpath users while the area is made safe.
