The towpath will now be closed during this restriction. A clearly signposted diversion will be in place.

A restriction is required to complete the installation of the safety gates at Llanfoist. This work can be completed without dewatering the canal and so the navigation will remain open. This restriction will be in place from 5th January to 9th January.
Please note, boats may be asked to wait while the site is made safe before passage.
