There is currently an issue with the gates at Fishpond Lock, in that they are not fully closing. The team has been on site this morning to carry out an investigation into what is preventing them from shutting. Subsequent attempts at a repair have not been successful so the decision has been made to provide assisted passage.
We will therefore be offering assisted passage at Fishpond Lock on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, between 10am and 2pm, until further notice.
This notice will be updated if there are any changes to the above, or when repairs have been completed.
