The towpath will be closed to all users at Bridge 23, Plex Lane Bridge on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to allow necessary maintenance works to the towpath.
A diversion route will be in place onsite at the both sides of the bridge, using the canal access point.
Whilst the canal will be kept open to navigation, we would ask all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given onsite.
