The towpath remains closed due to fallen trees.
At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as they are dealing with a back log from the high workload created from the adverse weather conditions we have currently experienced.
We will provide a further update on or before Wednesday 10 December.

At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as they are dealing with a back log from the high workload created from the adverse weather conditions we have currently been experiencing.

Several large trees have fallen and are currently blocking the towpath between Bridge 73 and Bridge 74 on the Rochdale Canal. Due to the size and position of the trees, we need to instruct our specialist contractor to assist with the removal.
At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as adverse weather conditions from Storm Claudia are impacting our waterways across the North West and causing delays.
We will provide a further update on or before Monday 01 December.
