Please be advised that a fishing match organised by Civil Service Angling Society on Saturday 6th December from 9am until 3pm.
The navigation and towpath will remain open but please be aware that the above event will be taking place with anglers using this section of canal.
We kindly request that anyone mooring in this location leaves gaps between the boats so that the anglers can fish between the boats, in line with the guidance on Page 5 of the Waterway Code: "When mooring on the towpath outside designated mooring sites, try to leave at least a 5 metre gap between the adjacent craft to allow for access for fishing and canoes/kayaks."
