Please be advised that Kilnhurst Lock remains closed. The initial issue with the sluice has been compounded by vandalism to the control pedestal, which has made the lock inoperable. Our engineers are aware of the situation and will be attending to assess the damage and carry out the necessary repairs. The lock will remain closed until it is safe and fully functional to reopen.

Please be advised that Kilnhurst Lock is currently closed overnight due to a faulty sluice. Our engineers have been notified and will be attending to assess and repair the issue as soon as possible. The lock will remain closed until the fault is resolved and it is safe to reopen.
