The Local Authority have organised for contractors to remove vegetation from the canal edge, utilising a tugboat and hopper, to facilitate access and the construction of a new footbridge 600 metres downstream of Dockholme Lock 62 along the Erewash Canal between 8:00am on Tuesday 11th November and 5:00pm on Wednesday 12th November.
Please be aware of increased activity and follow any guidance given by site staff.
