The Local Authority have organised for contractors to remove vegetation from the canal edge, utilising a tugboat and hopper, to facilitate access and the construction of a new footbridge 100 metres downstream of Long Eaton Lock 61, along the Erewash Canal between 8:00am on Tuesday 11th November and 5:00pm on Wednesday 12th November.
