Please be advised that the tail bridge at Aston Lock 2 will be removed for repair on the morning of Friday 17th October, and is scheduled to be reinstated by 4pm on Monday 20th October.
During this period, navigation and use of the lock will remain unaffected. However, access to the adjacent nature reserve will be limited to the lock gate walkways. The towpath will be closed from 8am on 17th October until 4pm on 20th October 2025.
