Further information is now available to the timings of the Water Bots Event on the New Mainline, Wednesday 22 October:
The water space will be used, so a navigation restriction will be in place. There will be four performances lasting around 20 minutes each at the area behind the ICC. This should give a short window in between if there is an immediate need to facilitate passage for a boat. The overall restriction is only for 90 mins, so we appreciate if boaters could plan accordingly.

An art/light installation (Water Bots - BOM Birmingham Open Media), organised by Birmingham Open Media is planned for Wednesday 22 October on the New Mainline.
The event will use a section of the canal rear of Birmingham International Convention Centre.
The event which will run from 5pm to 5.30pm (set up/breakdown between 4pm and 6pm).
There will be a temporary towpath, mooring and navigation restriction in place..
