A Waterways Festival (including historic, trade & private boats, music, food etc), organised by the Lichfield and Hatherton Canals Restoration Trust, is planned for Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September on the Coventry Canal.
The event will use a section of the towpath/navigation between Stoney Step Bridge, 84 and Cheadles Bridge, 81.
Around 5000 people and 50 boats are expected to attend the event with the event running from 10am on the Saturday till 4pm on the Sunday.
There will be mooring restrictions in place from 8am on the 19th until 1pm on the 22 September.
