Third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 139A & Bridge 140 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to carry out these necessary works to the electrical network.
These works will be taking place between Monday 22 September 8:00 to Friday 3 October 17:00.
We would request towpath users to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop as there may be a short delay for towpath users until the area is made safe.
We anticipate a wait of no longer than a maximum of 20 minutes for canal users and towpath users no longer than 5 minutes.
Please listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors and take note of the signage onsite.
