Third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 51 on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to carry out a detailed inspection. This inspection will be taking place between Tuesday 23 September 08:00 & Wednesday 24 September 17:00.
To be able to inspect the bridge, a pontoon and scaffolding tower will be in place, and we request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop to allow the pontoon and equipment to be moved out the way for safe passage.
We anticipate a wait of no longer than 20 minutes.
