Please be advised that a contractor working on behalf of Severn Trent Water will be carrying out essential works near the south portal of Leek Tunnel. The works involve installing four 180mm pipes across the access path and constructing a temporary ramp to maintain access.

The installation is expected to take approximately four hours. Once completed, the ramp will remain in place for around six months to ensure continued access through the area.

During the installation period, there may be a brief delay for towpath users while the area is made safe. Please follow all instructions provided by contractors on site.
