Please could boaters be aware that passage will be restricted due to facilitate Northern Power Grid undertaking overhead line tensioning works to pylon cables as part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade scheme.
Boaters and towpath users may be required to wait up to 20 minutes and should take instruction from banksmen on site.
