Ours teams are trying hard to recover the water levels, but due to the continuation of the dry weather, and the water levels remain low, the Navigation will remain closed until further notice.

Due to the continued period of dry weather and limited water resources, navigation between Lock 1 and Lock 6 on the Glasson branch will need to remain closed for the time being.

Once water levels improve, we will provided a further update and customers will be able to contact the North West team on 03030 404040, and the Operations team will be able to assist boaters wishing to leave the Glasson branch.

We understand how frustrating this may be and are sorry for any inconvenience it may cause to your boating plans. Our teams are closely monitoring the situation and doing everything possible to manage the water levels effectively.
