A religious event (involves placing a clay statue into the canal), organised by UtsavSamithi, is planned for Saturday 6 September on the Soho loop/New Mainline. The statue itself will be 18 inches tall and made of clay (it will dissolve).
The event will take place just below Western Road Bridge, with around 200 people expected to attend the ceremony.
The event will take place between 4pm and 5.30pm.
