A multi-sport event (walking, cycling & canoeing), organised by The Friends of Montgomery Canal, is planned for Saturday 6 September on the Montgomery Canal.
There will be three elements using the following sections of towpath/canal: Cycle 12.5 miles from Newtown to Belan, Canoe 5 miles from Belan to Pool Quay, Walk 9.5 miles from Pool Quay to Crickheath (Participant can do one or all three of these activities).
Around 200 people are expected to take part and the event will run from 7.30am to 6pm.
