Please note, we advise boats to avoid mooring between Brick Lock and Lower lock until the levels have stabilised.

We are experiencing low levels on the River Stort between Hunsdon Lock and Lower Lock.
To try and raise the levels, we have added tarps to the top gates and chained the paddles.
Once levels are stabilised we will make an assessment.
Please avoid mooring in between Brick Lock and Lower Lock until levels have stabilised.
