There will be a thorough inspection of the bridge structure carried out by Span Engineering. There will be pontoons and a scaffolding tower used to carry out the inspection in addition to roped methods. There will also be some tactile inspection as well as core sampling of the bridge. May skippers of all crafts, please slow down and approach the area with caution and follow any instructions given by staff. Delays of up to 20 minutes may be experienced, whilst equipment may need to be moved out of the way.
