Contractors working on behalf of High Speed 2 Limited (HS2 Ltd) are currently constructing a new railway viaduct over the Oxford Canal.
As part of these works, lifting operations will be carried out directly over the canal in the area between Bridge 127 and Bridge 128.
Boaters may be asked to wait for up to 30 minutes while lifting operations take place.
The towpath in this area is currently diverted to accommodate the construction works. Please follow the signed diversion route.
