Updates
Contractors have attended the site and carried out a partial removal of the tree obstructing the canal between Bridges 23 and 24. This has allowed for restricted passage through the area. We are currently awaiting their return to complete the full removal of the obstruction. A further update will be provided on Friday, 18 July. Thank you for your patience.
7/14/2025Navigation is closed between Bridges 23 & 24 on the Lancaster Canal due to a windblown tree. Contractors have been informed, and we await their attendance. An update will be provided Friday 18 July.
