Selby Swing Bridge is still out of use so we will be offering assisted passage between 9am and 12pm each day, whilst the warm weather continues, as it appears that the malfunction with the bridge is heat related. Please call the lock keepers on 01757 703 182 to arrange passage. If there is no answer, please call our Customer Service team on 0303 0404040 This notice will be reviewed on Friday, 18th July and assisted passage may be extended if the current weather conditions continue.

Selby Swing Bridge is currently out of use due to a mechanical issue. Operatives will be attending this afternoon to determine the extent of the fault. Further updates will be provided as soon as more information is available, including an estimated time for the bridge to return to full operation. Boaters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid this section of the navigation until further notice.
