We would like to inform you that Kingsroad Lock is now back in operation following the successful resolution of the recent fault affecting the system. Earlier this morning, our engineering team attended the site to carry out further diagnostics and repairs. Upon inspection, they identified a wiring fault connected to the reset button, which had contributed to the earlier emergency stop activation and system shutdown. This issue, along with any other associated faults, has now been fully resolved. The lock has been thoroughly tested and is fully operational once again. We recognise the importance of the lock to local navigation and appreciate your patience and understanding during the period of disruption. Please be assured that we remain committed to maintaining safe and reliable operations across the network. Thank you for your cooperation.

We would like to inform you that Kingsroad Lock is currently out of operation due to an emergency stop activation caused by a fault in the power supply and battery charging system. Earlier this morning, our engineering team promptly attended the site to assess and diagnose the issue. Upon inspection, they identified a failure within the electrical supply components, including the battery charging unit, which triggered the lock's emergency safety protocols. While the fault has been isolated, the lock remains inoperable until specialist repairs are completed. We are currently awaiting the arrival of AMCO, the authorised maintenance contractor, who will undertake the necessary remedial work to restore full functionality. We recognise the importance of the lock to local navigation and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please be assured that restoring service is our highest priority, and we are working closely with all parties to ensure the issue is resolved as quickly and safely as possible. Further updates will be issued as more information becomes available. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
