Balfour Beatty will be carrying out de-netting and dismantling works to the scaffolding at Crow Croft Bridge later this month.
The intended dates are as follows:
De-netting - Monday, 18th August
Dismantle - Tuesday 19th and Wednesday 20th August
Remove from Site - Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd August.
Please could boaters and towpath users be aware that they may be asked to wait whilst safe passage is made possible.
Any changes to these dates will be communicated as soon as possible.
Balfour Beattie will be carrying out maintenance works on behalf of National Grid, regarding the overhead power lines in the area.
This work requires netting to be strung the width of the Navigation, therefore scaffolding towers will be erected on site week commencing 7th July and the netting is due to be strung on 15th July and removed on 26th August.
Please take care during this period and comply with advice given by contractors and CRT staff.
