We are pleased to welcome a lock-wind event, organised by the Inland Waterways Association between 08:30 and 17:30 on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 August.
The event will take place at Cholmondeston Lock on the Middlewich Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal.
A 120ft mooring reservation will be in place for two boats on the visitor moorings above the lock from 15:00 on Friday 8 August until 10.00 on Monday 11 August.
Navigation and towpath will remain open, although there may be slight delays. We kindly ask all customers to proceed with care through the event area, follow the guidance of event organisers, and observe any signage in place.
