Unfortunately despite the rain from the weekend the levels in the pound at Tottenham Lock have not recovered enough to allow us to reopen navigation or offer assisted passage at this time. With the forecast showing hot weather we need to prioritise the safety of the vessels moored in the pound between Tottenham and Stonebridge. We'll continue to monitor the situation and provide updates where necessary.

We are suffering from a severe shortage of water due to low water levels this year. Boats in the Stonebridge to Tottenham pound are becoming grounded. Tottenham Locks are closed and will not be open for assisted passage until further notice. We are urging customers moored in the area to avoid cruising due to the low water levels.
