Further to our previous update, please be advised that our team will be commencing work on site tomorrow (Thursday 10th July).
We are aiming to complete the necessary works and reopen navigation by Friday 11th July. We will provide a further update on Friday to confirm progress and reopening status.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation as we work to resolve this issue.

Due to issues obtaining key materials and equipment, this closure has had to be extended; the planned reopening will be 08:00 on Thursday, 10th of July.
We will endeavour to reopen earlier if possible, and provide further updates as soon as we have any more information.

Please be advised that navigation at Lock 13 Long Itchington on the Grand Union Canal is currently closed.
This closure is necessary due to a failure of the collar on offside bottom gate.
We hope to arrange repair as soon as possible and will update this notice as soon as we have further information.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve this issue.
