We are pleased to welcome a running event, organised by New Era Boxing Club between 05.00 on Saturday 20 September and 17.00 on Sunday 21 September.
The event will use a section of canal between The New Era Boxing Club near Hayhurst Swing Bridge on the Weaver Navigation and Bridge 180A on the Trent & Mersey Canal, and will pass through the Peak Forest Canal and Macclesfield Canal.
Navigation and towpath will remain open, around 100 people are expected to take part in this event. We ask customers to exercise caution when walking through the area in which the event is taking place.
We politely request all customer to approach the area with caution, listen to the organisers onsite and to take note of any signage installed onsite.
